Canada Pension Plan Investment Board is reportedly in talks to acquire a minority stake in Iguá Saneamento S.A., which is controlled by IG4 Capital Investimentos Ltda., along with minority shareholders that include federal development bank BNDES. CPPIB is in exclusive talks with Iguá Saneamento for the acquisition of a stake worth at least BRL 1 billion ($188 million), according to local daily Valor Econômico, which did not say where it obtained the information.
