i-Components Co.,Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A059100) announced a private placement of third unregistered private convertible bonds for gross proceeds of KRW 5,000,000,000 on August 22, 2014. The bonds will carry coupon rate of 1% and will have a yield to maturity of 4.72%, with lump-sum redemption of principal on maturity date for the bonds. The bonds will mature on August 26, 2017. The bonds will have a 100% conversion into common shares at KRW 15,437 per share. The conversion period will be from August 26, 2015 to July 25, 2017.
On August 26, 2014, i-Components Co.,Ltd. closed the transaction. The transaction involved participation from Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd., Investment Arm, which invested KRW 2,000,000,000 and KDB Private Equity, which invested KRW 3,000,000,000 in the transaction.
i-Components Co., Ltd is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the manufacture of optical plastic films. The Companyâs products include coated polycarbonate (PC) and coated polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) films, which are used for the touch screen panels and keypads and windows of mobile phones; coated polyethylene terephthalate (PET) films, which are used in liquid crystal display television back light units (LCD TV BLUs); PC films, which are used for name plates of electronic and electrical equipment, instrument boards used in cars, sport goggles and sun cabs; PMMA films, which are used in display windows, and other products.
