Hyundai Motor Co. announced that its sales of Hyundai brand vehicles in China reach 1.34 million units in 2013, over 20% more than it realized in the previous year. Beijing Hyundai Motor, a joint venture established by Hyundai Motor Co and Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co.
Ltd, expected its auto sales for last year to hit 103 million units, up 20.3% year on year. At present, Hyundai's yearly auto output in China reached 1.05 million units.
