Fujian Electronics & Information (Group) Co.,Ltd signed the share transfer agreement to acquire a 10.22% stake in CPT Technology (Group) Co.,Ltd (SZSE:000536) from Bohai International Trust Co., Ltd. for approximately CNY 640 million recently. Under the transaction, Fujian Electronics will acquire 282.6 million shares of CPT Technology at a price of CNY 2.27 per share.
CPT Technology Group Co Ltd is a China-based company principally engaged in the research and development, production and sales of display panels and display modules. The Company operates three segments. The Module segment mainly produces small and medium-sized display module products. The Panel segment mainly produces small and medium-sized display panels. The Antibacterial Products segment is mainly engaged in the provision of antibacterial glass and other products. The Company's products are primarily used in notebook computers, tablet computers, smartphones, Point of sales (POS), industrial control screens and other fields. The Company mainly conducts its businesses in the domestic market.
