Hoteli Maestral d.d. (ZGSE:HMST) may be sold. Croatia’sEnterprise Restructuring and Privatization, CERP, said that it has received 88 non-binding bids for majority stakes in three firms. In earlier November 2017, CERP called for expressions of interest in the purchase of a 68.94% stake in Hoteli Maestral, a 55.48% stake in Hoteli Makarska d.d. (ZGSE:HMAM) and a 70.74% stake in Jadran. CERP commented in a statement that the number of received bids shows that domestic and foreign investors are very interested in the country's tourism portfolio. The procedure for public bidding is being conducted in two rounds, the first of which was concluded on November 13, 2017. CERP will now determine the initial price and then invite binding bids from those investors who have submitted their expressions of interest. The stake intended for sale in Hoteli Maestral is worth a nominal HRK 71.1 million; in Hoteli Makarska, HRK 124.2 million and in Jadran a nominal HRK 347.5 million, CERP said earlier.
