Higher Way Electronic Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 163.336 million compared to TWD 188.678 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 2.109 million compared to TWD 2.941 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 1.502 million compared to TWD 3.599 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.04 compared to TWD 0.11 a year ago.

The Company's primary products include multimedia controllers ICs, speech and music ICs, memory devices ICs, liquid crystal display (LCD) controllers ICs, single-chip microcontrollers ICs and optoelectronic devices. The Company's products are mainly used in electronic keyboards, Web cameras, moving picture experts group layer-3 audio (MP3) players, television (TV) games, electronic learning aids (ELAs), electronic books, personal stereos, handheld game machines and electronic dictionaries. The Company mainly distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets.
