Hektar Real Estate Investment Trust

Hektar Real Estate Investment Trust (the Trust) is a Malaysia-based retail-focused real estate investment trust (REIT). The Trust's objectives are to provide its unitholders with a defensible income distribution and increase the long term value of the REIT. The principal activity of the Trust is to acquire and invest in income-producing real estate in Malaysia which is primarily used for retail purposes. The Trust's investment strategy is to focus on retail assets in underserved markets across Malaysia, to create lifestyle places. The Trust’s portfolio consists of properties situated in Subang Jaya, Melaka, Muar, Sungai Petani, Kulim and Segamat, and its asset portfolio consists of a regional shopping center, five established neighbourhood-focused shopping centers, and a hotel in the Northern, Central and Southern Regions of Peninsular Malaysia. The Trust's manager is Hektar Asset Management Sdn Bhd and the property manager is Hektar Property Services Sdn Bhd.
