Heartland Express, Inc. reported consolidated unaudited earnings results for the fourth quarter and twelve months ended December 31, 2012. For the quarter, the company reported operating revenue of $136,193,000 compared with $131,209,000 for the same period last year. Operating income was $24,708,000 compared with $26,865,000 for the same period last year. Interest income was $174,000 compared with $153,000 for the same period last year.
