Harvest Operations Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the business of exploration, development and production of crude oil, bitumen, natural gas and natural gas liquids in western Canada. The Company's operational segments include Upstream Operations and BlackGold Oil Sands. Upstream Operations consists of exploration, development, production and subsequent sale of petroleum, natural gas and natural gas liquids in western Canada. BlackGold Oil Sands is an oil sands project located near Conklin, Alberta. Phase I of the oil sands project is designed to produce approximately 10,000 barrels of bitumen per day and is under construction and development. The Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC).
