Harima Chemicals Group, Inc. (TSE:4410) agreed to acquire Solder Materials Business from Henkel AG & Co. KGaA (XTRA:HEN3) on December 16, 2021. The Solder Materials Business of Henkel AG & Co. generated a revenue of 28 million as of December 31,2020. The transaction is expected to close on April, 1, 2022. As of March 31, 2022, The expected date for obtaining some permits is expected to be later than planned, so we have decided to postpone the scheduled date for asset acquisition from April 1, 2022 to second quarter of 2022.

The Paper Chemical segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of paper strength enhancer and sizing agent. The Electronic Material segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of soldering material and brazing material for heat exchanger. The Rotor segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of resin for adhesive and printing ink. The Company is also involved in the management of real estate.
