Hanza Holding AB (publ) has decided to expand its operations in the manufacturing cluster in Central Europe through acquisition of a building in Poland and expansion of the production facility in the Czech Republic. HANZA offers product manufacturing through six manufacturing clusters. To meet the increased demand, HANZA has the last year decided on expansion programs in five of these.

The company has now decided to expand also the sixth cluster, Central Europe, which includes production units in Poland and the Czech Republic. In Brzeg Dolny, Poland, HANZA owns a production facility for electronics manufacturing. The business will expand through the acquisition of a nearby building of 1,000 sqm.

In Zabreh, Czech Republic, HANZA owns a production facility for cable manufacturing and advanced assembly. HANZA has decided to expand the production area through an extension of approximately 1,000 sqm. The expansion is expected to be carried out swiftly, and the new areas should be operational during the second quarter of 2022.

The reason for the expansion is that HANZA sees a continued increased need for production close to the market. Among other things, the operations in Central Europe received a new Norwegian customer at the turn of the year with an estimated annual turnover of SEK 20 million, while an existing German customer indicates an increased volume of SEK 40 million for the year 2022.
