Hakudo Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the quarter, net sales were JPY 12,636 million against JPY 9,358 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 989 million against JPY 288 million a year ago. Profit for the period was JPY 717.623 million against JPY 215.517 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share were JPY 63.27 against JPY 19.00 a year ago.
Hakudo Co., Ltd. is a company mainly engaged in the processing and sale of metal and plastic products. The Company operates in two business segments. The Japan segment purchases various products from material manufacturers and others, cuts and processes the standard stock products, and delivers to customers in a short delivery time. The China segment purchases products from the Company and material manufacturers, stocks in factories in Shanghai, cuts, processes and delivers to customers in China in a short delivery time. In Thailand, the Company also sells products stocked in external warehouses in Bangkok to local companies.
