Guaranty Federal Bancshares : Sara Gugel Promoted to AVP/BSA & Security Officer

Guaranty Bank is pleased to announce that Sara Gugel was recently promoted to assistant vice president and BSA & Security Officer.

Gugel has more than 17 years of banking experience, joining Guaranty in 2004 as a teller. In 2006 she moved to the bank's operations center where she held various positions including operations admin clerk, operations SAR specialist, deposit operations coordinator, BSA & operations officer and, most recently, electronic services officer.

'With more than 13 years of operations and Bank Secrecy Act experience, plus nearly two decades of banking experience, Sara is a tremendous asset to Guaranty Bank,' said Krystal Kauffman, director of risk management. 'She will have no problem hitting the ground running and we look forward to her continued success in her new role.'

Gugel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Evangel University and is a member of The Network young professionals group.
