GL Events : SMAHRT

The SHOW NOT TO BE MISSED in South-West France.

From 28 to 31 January, the Toulouse Exhibition Park will be hosting SMAHRT, the Trade Fair for the Food-services, Hotel and Restaurant sector in South-West France. Bernard Bach, the two-star chef from the restaurant Le Puits St Jacques in Pujaudran (32), will be the patron of this year's show.

The SMAHRT show includes about thirty regional and national competitions in every area of food services (butchery, pastry-making, fish, catering, catering, waiter service, etc.), conferences on topical issues and innovations in the sector, events showcasing up-and-coming talents, as well as a wide range of products, services and essential professional equipment.
The show is a key source of information for the region's trade professionals, and fosters debate and networking between visitors.

In addition to showcasing the Occitanie (South Western France) region, this year's show has several new features, including two new events:

- the SMAHRT gala dinner This convivial gourmet dinner is reserved for food-service professionals and will round off the show. The dinner will highlight local products thanks to the talents of an exceptional team of chefs: Michel Sarran, 2-star chef of the Michel Sarran restaurant in Toulouse, Frank Renimel, 1-star chef from the restaurant En marge in Toulouse, Romain Fornell, 1-star chef from the Caelis Restaurant in Barcelona, and the patron of this year's show Bernard Bach.

- the Craft Beer Day In a region that boats more than 130 craft breweries, this new event will be appreciated by owners of delicatessens, restaurants, bars, beer and wine shops, etc.

Organised by GL events, this year's SMAHRT promises to be a key event promoting innovation, and business opportunities for the food-services sector in the South-West of France, in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
