Saint-Ouen (France), 29 January 2015 - Gfi Informatique confirms its strategic partnership with Alcatel-Lucent. In the framework of this partnership, Alcatel-Lucent will outsource activities specialising in telecom operators' IT systems to Gfi Informatique, and Gfi internalizes some of Alcatel-Lucent's teams, significantly expanding its telecoms offer.

 

The integration and support services activities outsourced by Alcatel-Lucent in France cover three areas:

  • OSS (Operations Support Systems): definition, integration, maintenance and support of solutions forming the core of the network and services management system of telecom operators;
  • CEM (Customer Experience Management): project  delivery activities using products still under Alcatel-Lucent's ownership that are dedicated to customer satisfaction;
  • ICC (Instant Convergent Charging): maintenance & support on Alcatel-Lucent's ICC payments solution for its customers.

 

Thanks to this deal, Gfi Informatique now counts Alcatel-Lucent among its major customers and has considerably extended its services offering and its systems integration expertise in Telecom Information Systems, which it can offer to its customers in all sectors, both in France and internationally, in partnership with Alcatel-Lucent or directly as necessary.

 

The acquired activities represent a team of 120 people in the Paris region, Nantes and Toulouse. They complement the BSS (Billing System) teams, which handle the integration, support and maintenance of operators' billing solutions.
