GEMINI CORPORATION ANNOUNCES HEAT TRACING SERVICE OFFERING

December 12, 2012, Calgary, Alberta - Gemini Corporation ("Gemini" or the "Corporation") (GKX-TSXV) is excited to announce our innovative service offering of industry leading electric heat tracing engineering services.
Heat tracing refers to the technology that provides heat to a thermally insulated system (pipework and equipment) to reduce viscosity and thereby facilitate flow of liquid or to prevent freezing. Electric Heat Tracing (EHT) has overtaken fluid (glycol, steam) heat tracing systems to be the predominant method of maintaining process line and equipment temperatures. EHT design requires a dedicated team of engineers and designers who understand not only the electrical aspects of design, but process design (P&ID's), instrumentation design (winterized instrument enclosures and tube bundles) and thermal insulation systems.
Gemini is fortunate to have a select group of industry leading heat tracing engineers and designers with a multitude of major heat tracing projects under their collective resumes, and access to a number of other experienced engineers and designers to build our Gemini team.
Through innovative design techniques Electrical Heat Tracing (EHT) systems designed by Gemini are typically designed in less time than competitors, thus producing compressed schedules and project cost reduction. This is accomplished by:

• Through in-depth planning with our clients where we can save on capital expenditure and/or operating costs

• The use of Drexan PipeGuard™ CMH cable technologies for high temperature applications where accepted by our clients. Drexan PipeGuard™ CMH can replace virtually all conventional Mineral Insulated EHT trace heating applications with a robust field cut to length trace heater, thereby saving both engineering, procurement and installation costs
• The use Drexan PipeGuard™ self-regulating cable for lower temperature applications where accepted by our clients. Drexan PipeGuard™ self-regulating cable include new state-of-the-art power point, splice and end kits that dramatically reduce installation time

• Extensive experience with other major EHT manufacturers product lines

• Optimized control philosophy determined in consultation with the client

• In house Design - Build EHT Control Skids

• Custom tailored Engineering Work Packages for module and stick built applications

There is a solid belief that the electric heat tracing market, from an engineering perspective, is underserved, particularly with regard to the high levels of specific expertise required for successful EHT projects. Although not a new concept, the market acceptance and usage of electric heat trace has increased significantly in the last 10 years to create a considerable business opportunity globally. Most current technology is 30 years old which opens the door for emerging technologies that are more efficient and less costly to install.
