Public Joint Stock Company Gazprom Neft (MICEX:SIBN) has stopped the negotiations to buy 49% stake in Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company Ltd., operator of Vietnam's Dung Quat oil refinery and a subsidiary of PetroVietnam Oil Corporation, according to an internal report by PetroVietnam seen by Reuters. As per the reports, negotiations were halted as PetroVietnam could not offer GPN the preferences it sought. Gazprom Neft, Spokesmen at Binh Son and PetroVietnam declined to immediately comment when contacted by Reuters.
