Fujikura specializes in the design, manufacturing and marketing of electronic equipment, cabling systems and telecommunications equipment. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- sale of cables (50.2%): energy cables, coaxial cables, industrial equipment special cables, telecoms cables, conductor wires, etc. The group also develops a sale of telecommunications equipment (fiber optic connecting materials, photometers, reflectometers, optical connectors, couplers, optical transceivers, etc.) activity;
- sale of electronic and electronic equipment (26.5%): printed circuits, connectors, switches, pressure captors, etc.;
- sale of automotive products (21.2%);
- real estate leasing (1.5%);
- other (0.6%).
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Japan (37.5%), the United States (19.1%), China (14.4%) and other (29%).
