FTI Consulting : Strengthens TMT Practice with Two Managing Director Appointments

Washington, D.C., Jan. 9, 2023 - FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointments of Diego Gamboa and Jamie Gorman as Managing Directors in the Telecom, Media and Technology ("TMT") practice within the firm's Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment.

Mr. Gamboa, who is based in Chicago, has more than 15 years of experience leading performance improvement, integration and separation engagements for clients across the TMT space. He has expertise in merger and acquisition integration, divestitures, EBITDA improvement and functional optimization.

In his new role, Mr. Gamboa will work with technology companies on post-merger integration activities, separation of key business units into standalone companies, cost reduction programs and operating model transformations. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Gamboa worked in the TMT practice at AlixPartners, in operations advisory at a Big Four firm and in analysis and consulting at a market research firm.

Mr. Gorman joins the New York office with more than 20 years as a business leader, consultant and advisor delivering growth strategies, partnerships and products to companies in the TMT space. Most recently, he worked at Altice USA, the fourth-largest cable operator in the country, where he managed customer growth and product strategy.

Previously, Mr. Gorman worked with TMT clients as a management consultant, was a founding partner of a boutique investment bank and co-founder of an internet software company. He has also worked in the private equity sector, where he advised many early-stage technology companies, both as an investor and advisor.
