SINGAPORE, Sept 12 (Reuters) - Taiwan's Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPCC) has kicked off October-loading gasoil spot sales discussions, three sources familiar with the matter said on Tuesday.

The refiner is seeking to sell at least one 750,000-barrel cargo loading on Oct. 22-26, they added.

The tender closes on Sept. 1 with same-day validity.

September-loading cargoes from the refiner were earlier sold at small premiums of up to 30 cents a barrel to free-on-board (FOB) Singapore prices.

On the jet fuel front, FPCC sold one early October-loading cargo of 300,000 barrels two weeks ago at close to a premium of $2 a barrel to Singapore quotes, according to two traders who participate in the market. (Reporting by Trixie Yap; Editing by Christian Schmollinger)
