Exedy Corporation reported consolidated earnings results for the third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2016. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 195,714 million compared to JPY 198,088 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 16,499 million compared to JPY 14,147 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 15,627 million compared to JPY 13,265 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 10,770 million or JPY 224.23 per share compared to JPY 8,676 million or JPY 180.69 per share a year ago.
For the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2017, the company forecasts consolidated net sales of JPY 250,000 million, operating income of JPY 18,500 million, ordinary income of JPY 18,000 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 12,000 million or JPY 249.87 per share.
The company provided dividend guidance for the year ending March 31, 2017. For the period, the company expects to pay a dividend of JPY 35.00 per share.
