WARREN, New Jersey - June 10, 2024 - Everest Insurance®, the insurance division of Everest Group, Ltd. (NYSE: EG), today announced Stephen Buonpane has joined the Company in the newly-created role of Senior Vice President, Casualty Specialty Lines and Industry Practices, reporting to Bill Hazelton, Head of Retail Casualty and Industry Practices, Everest Insurance® North America.

Mr. Buonpane will be responsible for leading the growth of Everest's Casualty Specialty Lines, including Energy, Life Sciences, and Environmental, while further expanding the Company's Industry Practices group. This role supports Everest's strategy of diversifying its industry vertical expertise for an enhanced broker and client experience across multiple risk management products.

With extensive experience in casualty insurance, industry practice development, and cross-selling strategy implementation, Mr. Buonpane joins Everest following an impressive career spanning some of the world's largest global insurance providers. Following a tenure as EVP, Construction Industry Practice Leader with Chubb, he became Co-Founder and Chief Insurance Officer for Shepherd, catering exclusively to the prosperous yet hazardous commercial construction space, creating technology solutions to enhance underwriting processes and risk assessment.
