their team base in Lanzarote. They are due to arrive later this
week to join the other five boats in the Volvo Ocean Race fleet.

The Volvo Ocean Race will officially start on October 4 with two
inport races, and the first offshore leg to Cape Town will start a
week later on Satruday, October 11.

The 10-month race will take the fleet from Alicante in Spain, to Cape
Town, Cochin in India, Singapore, Qingdao in China, Rio de Janeiro
and Boston, before crossing the Atlantic to Galway in Ireland and
then to a pitstop in Marstrand, Sweden before moving to Stockholm and
the race finish in St Petersburg.

Ericsson Racing Team has entered two crews in the Volvo Ocean Race.
Torben Grael leads the International crew, with sailors representing
Australia, Brazil, Great Britain and New Zealand. Swedish skipper
Anders Lewander leads the Nordic crew, with sailors from Denmark,
Finland, Norway and Sweden.

The entries mark Ericsson's second foray in the Volvo Ocean Race,
which it sees as a valuable platform to meet clients and customers
around the world while also showcasing its technology.
