EPL Limited reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2023. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was INR 9,693 million compared to INR 8,802 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 9,961 million compared to INR 8,824 million a year ago. Net income was INR 843 million compared to INR 487 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 2.65 compared to INR 1.54 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 2.65 compared to INR 1.54 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was INR 36,941 million compared to INR 34,328 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 37,362 million compared to INR 34,448 million a year ago. Net income was INR 2,267 million compared to INR 2,144 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 7.15 compared to INR 6.79 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 7.15 compared to INR 6.77 a year ago.
EPL Limited is an India-based packaging company. The Company is engaged in the manufacturing of plastic packaging material in the form of multilayer collapsible tubes and laminates used primarily for packaging consumer products in the beauty and cosmetics, health and pharmaceuticals, food, home and oral care categories. Its geographical segments include the Americas (with operations in the United States, Mexico, and Colombia); Europe (with operations in Germany and Poland); AMESA - Africa, Middle East and South Asia (with operations in Egypt and India); and EAP - East Asia Pacific (with operations in China and the Philippines). The Companyâs product segments include laminates, laminated tubes, extruded tubes, caps and closures, and dispensing systems. The Company produces specialty laminates in its facilities in China and India. The Company also produces tamper-evident closures for the protection of products.
