(Reuters) - British gambling group Entain reported a marginal rise in 2023 profit and said that some regulatory measures in the UK and Netherlands would hurt its profit forecast for the current financial year.
The owner of Ladbrokes and Coral betting shops as well as bwin and partypoker online brands reported 1% rise in adjusted core profit to about 1 billion pounds ($1.27 billion) for the full year ended Dec. 31.
It added that the core profit for 2024 was expected to reduce by about 40 million pounds.
