Enertime announces the signing of a long-term electricity sales contract between Energie Lagnieu, a project company created by its investment subsidiary Energie Circulaire, and the French subsidiary of glass packaging manufacturer Verallia.

This electricity, generated by an ORC system using hot fumes from the Verallia plant in Lagnieu, will be consumed by the site itself, enabling it to reduce its electricity consumption by around 8% and its CO2 emissions by around 500 tonnes a year.

Enertime has been awarded the general contracting contract for this complete ORC (organic Rankine cycle) / heat recovery system. Work is scheduled to start before the summer, with a view to commissioning in September 2024.
