EMCO Industries Limited reported unaudited earnings results for second quarter and six months ended December 31, 2018. For the quarter, the company’s net sales were PKR 356,871,928 compared to PKR 210,238,529 a year ago. Operating profit was PKR 74,451,465 compared to PKR 11,080,114 a year ago. Profit after tax was PKR 32,580,823 compared to PKR 17,747,875 a year ago. Earnings per share was PKR 0.93 compared to PKR 0.50 a year ago.
For the six months, the company’s net sales were PKR 665,302,761 compared to PKR 507,741,858 a year ago. Operating profit was PKR 119,991,157 compared to PKR 33,823,929 a year ago. Profit after tax was PKR 52,668,932 compared to PKR 22,207,972 a year ago. Earnings per share was PKR 1.50 compared to PKR 0.63 a year ago.
EMCO Industries Limited is a Pakistan-based company, which is principally engaged in the manufacturing and sale of high/low tension electrical porcelain insulators and switchgears. In addition to electric porcelain, the Company runs a full-fledged department for the production of chemical porcelain, such as acid-proof lining bricks, Raschig rings, saddles and special refractories.
