(Alliance News) - Ecomembrane Spa on Tuesday announced that it has signed, following a tender, a three-year "Framework Contract" with a leading Italian energy operator for the supply and installation of plant roofing components for a maximum, estimated and unsecured amount of EUR2.7 million, with the client's right to increase this amount up to a maximum of 50 percent and/or to extend the duration

of the contract up to a maximum of an additional 24 months.

The key objectives of the supplies and services covered by the agreement are maintenance and revamping activities on gasometric domes and roofs currently installed on biogas plants and the conversion activity of some biogas plants for biomethane production.

Lorenzo Spedini - CEO of Ecomembrane - said, "This contract testifies, once again, to the reliability of our products and confirms Ecomembrane's leadership position among the main players in the sector. The type of agreement also confirms the trend of entering into medium- to long-term contracts involving multiple plants."

Ecomebrane closed the session 1.8 percent in the red at EUR5.50 per share.
