For the quarter, the company reported revenue of MYR 12,068,000 against MYR 23,629,000 a year ago. Profit from operations was MYR 9,035,000 against MYR 14,279,000 a year ago. Profit before tax was MYR 7,365,000 against MYR 12,913,000 a year ago. Net earnings attributable to owners of the company were MYR 5,230,000 or 0.65 sen per basic and diluted ordinary share against MYR 11,740,000 or 1.61 sen per basic ordinary share a year ago. The group's revenue for the current quarter was 31% lower than the preceding quarter of MYR 17.5 million primarily due to decrease in billings from sales of the Upper East project. Although revenue was lower in the current quarter, the group's profit before tax for the current quarter was higher than the preceding quarter at MYR 2.2 million. This was primarily due to the recovery of long outstanding debts, which were previously provided and now written back. For the six months, the company reported revenue of MYR 29,606,000 against MYR 46,963,000 a year ago. Profit from operations was MYR 12,941,000 against MYR 19,010,000 a year ago. Profit before tax was MYR 9,582,000 against MYR 16,336,000 a year ago. Net earnings attributable to owners of the company were MYR 6,559,000 or 0.82 sen per basic ordinary share against MYR 14,081,000 or 1.93 sen per basic ordinary share a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was MYR 102,780,000 against net cash from operating activities of MYR 21,077,000 a year ago.
