Eagle Industry Co.,Ltd. reported consolidated financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the six months, the company reported operating loss of ¥841 million and loss attributable to owners of parent of ¥1,329 million or ¥27.08 per share on net sales of ¥25,586 million against operating profit of ¥1,889 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥1,244 million or ¥25.35 per basic share on net sales of ¥36,370 million for the same period of last year.
EAGLE INDUSTRY CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of mechanical seals, special valves and other sealing device-related products. The Company operates in four business segments. Automobile and Construction Machinery Industry Related segment manufactures and sells mechanical seals (shaft seals) and special valves for automobiles and construction machinery, as well as special valves for the electric power industry. General Industrial Machinery and Semiconductor Industry Related segment manufactures and sells mechanical seals (shaft seals) for industrial machinery, oil refining, and chemical plant industries, as well as precision bellows products. Marine Industry Related segment manufactures and sells stern tube seals (shaft seals) and bearings. Aerospace Industry Related segment manufactures and sells various seals (shaft seals), as well as pressure sensors for aircraft and rocket engines.
