Santa Fe A/S : Energy Giant Renews €2m contract with Santa Fe Relocation Services

LONDON, Friday 18th November 2016: Santa Fe Relocation Services, a global leader in full service relocation, has today announced a two-year contract worth approximately €2m to supply International moving service, Global Immigration Services and its Destination Services Programme to one of the world's leading oil and gas companies. The deal is a further renewal with the company, which has worked with Santa Fe over the past three years and which already expanded its commitment in 2015 with the addition of Destination Services.

The oil and gas industry is inherently global, with the upstream business in particular requiring an ability to locate highly skilled employees to often very remote locations with limited local infrastructure and support. At the same time, the decline in oil prices over recent years has left the sector facing unprecedented cost pressures. With this has come the need to become ever more agile and streamlined, while still retaining the best talent. With approximately 4700 international assignees, Santa Fe's client needed to continue to improve the experience for the customer's employees while also improving the efficiency of the process. In particular, the company needed to reduce the complexity of visa management.

The decision to renew the contract was driven by Santa Fe's ability to provide strong account management and a continuity of the deep client knowledge offered by its dedicated client team. With a need to manage international relocations - including third moves - between Europe, Asia and the Americas - Santa Fe's global reach and experience in meeting the complex demands of large multinational organisations proved decisive. In an increasingly competitive market, the client also wished to improve the balance between the costs and the benefits of assignments - not only by reducing the costs of managing relocations but also improving talent management processes to ensure a greater return on investment.
