Digital Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund reported unaudited earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2016. For the quarter, the company reported total income of THB 1,584,662,173 against THB 1,460,979,049 a year ago. Net investment income was THB 1,300,816,753 against THB 1,194,259,706 a year ago. Total net gain from investments was THB 75,351,585 against THB 57,082,674 a year ago. Increase in net assets from operations was THB 1,376,168,338 against THB 1,251,342,380 a year ago. Net profit was THB 1,376,168,000 or THB 0.237 per share compared to THB 1,251,342,000 or THB 0.2155 per share a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported total income of THB 4,719,553,331 against THB 4,439,673,821 a year ago. Net investment income was THB 3,928,341,873 against THB 3,824,329,277 a year ago. Total net gain from investments was THB 13,403,714,732 against total net loss from investments of THB 109,718,262 a year ago. Digital Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund is a Thailand-based closed-end infrastructure fund. The Fund operates through investments in the telecommunications infrastructure business and securities segment. The Fund invests in telecommunication infrastructure assets such as telecommunication towers, fiber optic cable system, transmission equipment, broadband system and/or revenue incurred from the assets with coverage nationwide. Its infrastructure funds are invested in various businesses, such as Transportation system by rail or pipe, electricity, plumbing, road, expressway, or concession, telecommunications or information technology infrastructure and communication, alternative energy, waste management, airport or airfield, and water management system or irrigation. The Fund is managed by SCB Asset Management Company Limited.
