Designone Japan, Inc. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended November 30, 2016. For the quarter, net sales were JPY 467 million against JPY 319 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 163 million against JPY 134 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 165 million against JPY 136 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 86 million against JPY 82 million a year ago. Diluted net income per share was JPY 11.48 against JPY 10.91 a year ago.
For the year ending Aug. 2017, the company expects net sales of JPY 1,950 million, operating income of JPY 600 million, ordinary income of JPY 607 million and net income of JPY 379 million or JPY 50.81 per share.
