Deoleo, S.A., within the measures necessary to adapt its structure to current needs, now initiates the plan directed to the rationalization of its resources, with the objective of:
Optimize the used capacity of the new industrial configuration, in which production will be concentrated in the factories of Alcolea (Córdoba) and Tavarnelle (Italy), which, following an investment plan, will increase their capacity and allow the group's production to be developed with efficiency levels appropriate to its current business.
Rationalize the structure of costs and,
Improve its competitiveness.
To do so, the Board of Deoleo S.A., in today's meeting, has approved the initiation of an Employment Regulation Plan, prompted by organizational and productive issues.
The agreed upon process affects approximately 95 employees that lend their services in the centers in Alcolea, Andujar and Rivas Vaciamadrid, that make up approximately 14% of the total personnel of the different societies that make up the commercial group Deoleo.
Therefore, a period of negotiation would be initiated with the representatives of the employees, in accordance with the terms legally set.
