Darktrace plc (LSE:DARK) on August 15, 2022, said that it has started early stages of discussions with Thoma Bravo, L.P. over a possible takeover of the UK cybersecurity solutions provider. The British firm highlighted in the statement that it could not be certain whether the talks will result in a transaction. Following the Monday disclosure, the US suitor has a September 12, 2022 deadline to announce a firm intention to make an offer or walk away.
