Daiken Co.,Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended November 2018. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 7,890 million against JPY 7,772 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 70 million against JPY 224 million a year ago. Ordinary profit was JPY 83 million against JPY 230 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 50 million against JPY 151 million a year ago. Basic EPS was JPY 8.65 against JPY 25.82 a year ago.
For the fiscal 2019, the company expects net sales of JPY 10,800 million, operating profit of JPY 280 million, ordinary profit of JPY 290 million and profit of JPY 175 million or JPY 29.80 basic per share.
DAIKEN CO.,LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of building hardware, exterior building materials and exterior products. The Company operates through two business segments. The Building Related Products segment is engaged in the manufacture, sale and installation of exterior building materials, interior building materials, as well as home delivery boxes, door hangers, and household sliding door closers. The Real Estate Rental segment is engaged in the operation of rental apartments for singles and rental stores. Exterior building materials include shades, aluminum drainers, handrails for shades, exterior blindfolded panels. Interior building materials include inspection doors, pits, gratings, stainless steel entrance wiping mats, ceiling lighting louvers, aluminum pipes, curtain rails.
