Daiichi Sankyo Announces New Chairman and President

Tokyo, Japan (January 31, 2017) - Daiichi Sankyo Company, Limited (hereafter, Daiichi Sankyo) today announced the following new assignments of representative directors which were resolved at the board of directors meeting held on January 31, 2017.

Effective date: April 1, 2017

Purpose: Strengthen Daiichi Sankyo's management setup to achieve the goals of the fourth mid-term management plan towards the realization of the Company's 2025 Vision of being a Global Pharma Innovator with Competitive Advantage in Oncology, which was publicly announced in March 2016.
