LONDON - 21 October 2020 - CyrusOne Inc. (NASDAQ:CONE), a premier global data centre REIT, today announced a trio of new appointments to bolster its growing European leadership team, including Richard Brandon as Senior Director of European Design and Construction, Graham Goldsmith as Customer Implementation Manager, and John Quirie as Senior Data Centre Construction Manager.

'This is an exciting time for CyrusOne in Europe. As a heavily client focused company, we work hard to meet our cloud customers' unique needs. This, coupled with our growth and core focus on designing sustainable energy efficient new buildings, requires an experienced and agile design and construction delivery team. I am delighted to welcome these three senior leaders to CyrusOne', commented Matt Pullen, EVP and Managing Director, Europe.

Richard Brandon joins CyrusOne from Structure Tone where he was formerly Director of Mission Critical for the international business. With over 25 years' experience in senior level positions across the data centre industry managing complex and fast-moving construction and engineering projects, Richard is uniquely positioned to support CyrusOne's growth in Europe. He will be responsible for the management of European design and construction across the life cycle of all development projects.

Graham Goldsmith joins CyrusOne as Customer Implementation Manager from JPMorgan Chase (JPMC), where he was responsible for executing the data centre strategy for JPMC Corporate Investment Bank. Graham will lead and organise internal and external resources to manage complex customer installations.

John Quirie joins CyrusOne from Wayss und Freytag Ingenieurbau AG as Senior Data Centre Construction Manager. John will oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of new construction, including overall project management with an emphasis on mission critical electrical and mechanical systems.

Richard Brandon added: 'I am thrilled to join CyrusOne. Having spent my career working across the spectrum of the data centre industry - providing consultancy advice at CBRE, running a pan-European construction programme for Digital Realty, and delivering mission critical projects for a wide variety of enterprise, cloud and colocation customers as a main contractor at Structure Tone, I'm excited to now work alongside this experienced team to deliver the outstanding services and facilities customers have come to expect from CyrusOne.'

In addition to the Company's plans to accelerate European growth and capacity, last month CyrusOne announced an ambitious commitment to become carbon-neutral by 2040 through the reduction of carbon emissions across the company's global data centre portfolio. The pledge will build on sustainable efforts put forward by CyrusOne including purchasing renewables, leveraging green power and integrating sustainable design components across all its facilities around the world.
