On November 16, the delivery and naming ceremony of New-building 36,000 DWT multipurpose vessel M.V.Tian Qi, was successfully held at Wenchong Shipyard.M.V. Tian Qi is the third of the type of the vessel built by WENCHONG Shipyard. Since this vessel was put into operation, the company has seven vessels of this type.
The attendees included COSCO SHIPPING SPECIALIZED CARRIERS deputy general managers, Capt. Cai Mei Jiang and Capt. Wu Liang Ming;Mr.Xiang Hui Ming, the general manager of CSSC HUANGPU WENCHONG SHIPBUILDING COMPANY LIMITED;Mr.Chen Da Ming,the general manager of COSCO INTERNATIONAL SHIP TRADING CO.,LTD.;Mr.Hu Kai, the deputy general manager of CHINA STATE SHIPBUILDING COPORATION.
M.V. Tian Qi is 189.99 meters long,43 meters wide, design draught 15.8 meters, scantling draught 11 meters, and CCS ice class B. The vessel is equipped with four ship cranes, with maximum lifting capacity of 200 tons in tandem mode, and four giant cargo that holds have large hatch openings and large loading decks. Thus, the vessel is suitable to load wind power equipment and machinery equipment. Moreover, the vessel was built with many environmental protection techniques.
