São Paulo, August 28, 2012 - COSAN LIMITED (NYSE: CZZ,
BM&FBovespa: CZLT11) and COSAN S/A INDÚSTRIA E COMERCIO
(BM&FBovespa: CSAN3), one of Brazil's largest private
groups with businesses in energy and infrastructure, was
chosen as the Company of Value by the "Valor
1000" annual at a ceremony held on August 23 in São
Paulo. The Company was awarded for joining solid
operating and financial performance with efficient,
transparent management according to corporate governance
best practices. In addition to the award for best company
in Sugar and Ethanol, Cosan also won the top prize of the
evening.

special time in the Group's history. In addition to
having achieved excellent results, we had the vision and

that is much more resilient to the challenges of our
markets", said Mr. Rubens O. Silveira Mello,

Valor 1000 is the most complete annual on Brazil's
largest companies, analyzing the performance of its 1000
largest companies by net revenue, annually awarding the
best from 25 industries. The awards are given based on
studies by the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV) and
analyzed by Serasa Experian under the coordination of
Valor Econômico newspaper.
