CURIOUSCAST PODCAST NETWORK PARTNERS WITH THE PEAK ON NEW BUSINESS PODCAST

New Podcast Free Lunch by The Peak Dives Deep into Major Business and Economic News Stories that Impact Canadians

For Immediate Release

TORONTO, January 12, 2023 - Corus Entertainment's award-winning podcast network Curiouscast has announced its latest partnership with The Peak, the weekly podcast Free Lunch by The Peak. Free Lunch takes listeners deep inside the major business news stories that everyone is talking about, breaking it down in a simplified way and explaining how it impacts all of us. Hosted by Sarah Bartick and Taylor Scollon, the podcast will include some of the brightest minds in business, economics, finance, and technology. Free Lunch marks Curiouscast's second partnership with The Peak, having previously launched The Peak Daily in 2022.

"What happens in the economy and business impacts everyone, but it can be difficult to grasp, We created Free Lunch by The Peak to fix that," said Free Lunch host Taylor Scallon. "Through interviews with subject matter experts, we'll reveal information beyond the surface-level to really understand the big forces in tech, finance and the economy that are shaping our lives. In our first few episodes, we'll explore some of the most important topics facing Canadians today including housing, the job market, and our supply chains. We have learned a lot by speaking to people who know these subjects better than almost anyone else in the country, and I think listeners will too."

"We're excited to partner with The Peak on our next project to bring Free Lunch to our audiences," said Chris 'Dunner' Duncombe, Director of Podcasting and Streaming, Curiouscast/Corus Entertainment. "What makes Free Lunch so unique is that it is an intelligent, fact-based, entrepreneurial show that connects the dots on the major trends and business news in a way that allows listeners to understand why it matters."

New episodes will be released every Tuesday morning. To listen to each episode of the podcast for free, subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music, or anywhere else podcasts are available. For more information visit Curiouscast.ca or readthepeak.com.
