Corporacion Favorita CA is an Ecuadorean company engaged in the retail sector. Its business is structured in three divisions: Commercial, Industrial and Real Estate. In the Commercial division, it operates the Supermaxi, Megamaxi, Aki and Gran Aki supermarkets; the Kywi, Megakywi, TodoHogar, Sukasa and Salon de Navidad home accessories and home improvement tools retailers; TVentas, a home shopping channel; Radio Shack, an electronics store; Mr Books, a book shop, and the Jugueton and Bebemundo toys stores. The Industrial division comprises the operations of the Company’s distribution center, as well as the activities of its subsidiaries: Agropesa, a producer of beef and pork meat products; Enermax (Central Hidroelectrica Calope), a company active in the electric power generation; Maxipan, a bakery, and Pofasa, a poultry producer. In the Real Estate division, it is involved in the management of La Pradera, Miraflores, Los Andes, El Jardin, El Sol, Sur and Multiplaza shopping centers.
