Copeinca finished on January 8(th) its second fishing season quota, and ended
second in the year processing 13.73% of the total Peruvian quota of 6,175,000
MT, of which 10.7% came from own catch. Copeinca produced 196,773 MT of
fishmeal and 46,000 MT of fish oil. 100% of fishmeal was SD, fish oil
production had a 5.92% yield, fishmeal production had a 23.6% yield and the
total yield was 29.5%.
For the second fishing season of the year (November - January) Copeinca
processed 14.68% of the total Peruvian quota of 2,500,000 MT, of which 10.7%
came from own catch. Total production for the second fishing season was 85,089
MT of SD fishmeal and 22.015 MT of fish oil.
It is noteworthy that the second fishing season formal completion is scheduled
for January 31(st.)
