CIR: Board member Franco Girard has passed away

Milan, January 6 2017 - CIR-Compagnie Industriali Riunite S.p.A. announces that Mr. Franco Girard, a current board member and former manager, passed away yesterday at 82 years of age. He had been with the company since 1983 and was Administrative and Finance Director and, until 1993, General Manager. The Honorary Chairman Carlo De Benedetti, Chairman Rodolfo De Benedetti, Chief Executive Officer Monica Mondardini, members of the Board of Directors, members of the Board of Statutory Auditors and the group's employees extend their condolences to the family and remember the commitment, professionalism and intelligence that distinguished Mr. Girard throughout his career.
