Cognition Holdings Limited announced the shareholders of the following changes to the Board with effect from 2 September 2021. Mr. Marc Steven du Plessis has resigned as a non-executive director with immediate effect following his resignation from the Caxton Group to pursue other business interests. Mr. du Plessis joined the Board on 17 September 2013, and the Board thanks him for his contribution during his tenure. Mr. Miles Crisp has been appointed as an independent non-executive director to fill the vacancy following the recent resignation of Mr. Trevor Ahier. Mr. Crisp was group CEO of Tarsus Technologies Group, a private IT distribution business serving the Southern African region, from March 2014 until February 2021. Mr. Crisp completed his BCom and CTA at Rhodes University and completed his articles at Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Servaas Willem Lourens de Kock has been appointed as a non-executive director to fill the vacancy following the aforementioned resignation of Mr. Marc du Plessis. Mr. de Kock is a media and digital professional with over 20 years of experience. He started off his career in radio, after which he founded a web development and digital marketing business. He has overseen multiple Software as a Service, software and web development projects. He understands the digital landscape and has compiled multiple top-line strategies. Mr. de Kock completed his BCom in Human Resources and Marketing at the University of the Free State.
