PERMISSION GRANTED TO OPERATE DURING PHASE 2

OF MALAYSIA'S NATIONAL RECOVERY PLAN

Further to the announcements dated 31 May 2021, 13 June 2021 and 28 June 2021, the Board of Directors (the "Board") of CNMC Goldmine Holdings Limited (the "Company", and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") would like to update shareholders that its subsidiary, CMNM Mining Group Sdn. Bhd., was granted approval on 12 July 2021 from the relevant authorities in Malaysia to resume mining operations at its flagship Sokor gold mine in Kelantan. This is following the Malaysian Federal Government's decision to ease Covid-19 restrictions in Kelantan and four other states with effect from 5 July 2021.

Kelantan, where the Group's mining operations are based, together with Pahang, Perlis, Perak and Terengganu, has met the regulatory thresholds to transition into Phase 2 of Malaysia's National Recovery Plan (the "NRP"), while the rest of the country is still under the more restrictive Phase 1 of the NRP.

Under Phase 2 of the NRP, economic and social activities can resume, subject to certain limits. In the case of mining, worker capacity on-site cannot exceed 80%. Adherence to stipulated standard operating procedures and safety measures is also required.

The Group will continue to update shareholders accordingly as and when there are material developments.
