Civmec delivers continued growth in half year results
Civmec today released financial results for the half year ended 31 December 2022, delivering increased revenue and profits, together with a stronger balance sheet.
The half year saw several major projects successfully completed, as other projects ramped up and new contracts were awarded and extended.
"These results validate our strategy of working hard to grow our order book consistently and sustainably. Along with targeting diversified projects, a great amount of effort has gone into building a strong and skilled workforce who can optimally utilise our world-class facilities, systems and equipment," said Civmec CEO Pat Tallon.
Environmental, social and governance (ESG) activities were also strong, including a safety reaccreditation, head office gender balance targets met, and continued growth in employee development and training. Civmec currently has 124 apprentices, trainees and graduates employed within the Group.
Going forward, Civmec will continue its strong tendering activity, with a focus on securing projects that allow the company to grow at a sustainable rate.
Pat Tallon said, "Reflecting on our half yearly results, I extend my thanks to the entire Civmec team, our delivery partners, and the clients who entrust their projects to us. Let's continue to work together; collaborating, innovating and delivering successful outcomes with safety and sustainability top of mind."
