Cisco Systems, Inc. (NasdaqGS:CSCO) agreed to acquire Cognitive Security s.r.o. from Credo Stage 1, a fund of Credo Ventures, Martin Rehák, Michal Pechoucek, Karel Obluk, RSJ Private Equity uzavrený podílový fond a.s. and other investors on January 29, 2013. Cognitive Security's employees will be joining Cisco's Security Technology Group, led by Senior Vice President Chris Young. The acquisition is subject to approval by the Cisco's shareholders and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2013.
