Cisco Systems, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended April 27, 2024. For the third quarter, the company reported revenue was USD 12,702 million compared to USD 14,571 million a year ago. Net income was USD 1,886 million compared to USD 3,212 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.47 compared to USD 0.79 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.46 compared to USD 0.78 a year ago.
For the nine months, revenue was USD 40,161 million compared to USD 41,795 million a year ago. Net income was USD 8,158 million compared to USD 8,655 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.01 compared to USD 2.11 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2 compared to USD 2.11 a year ago.
Cisco Systems, Inc. is the world leader in designing, developing, and marketing Internet network equipment. Net sales break down by family of products and services as follows:
- network equipment (68.9%); switches and routers, technological software and systems (storage, Internet access, and security systems, wiring, gateways, connection interfaces and modules, etc.), etc.;

- security products (6.8%).
