Cindrella Hotels Limited announced that the company was forced to close down operation from 25th March 2020 due to guidelines issued by the Central Government under the Disaster Management Act. The Restaurant business of the company was re-started in May with the facility of 'Take away food' under government guidelines. On June 5, 2020, the company started the Rooms division and Conference halls as per relevant guidelines of Unlock 1.0. The company was able to generate low volume of business during this period due to limited long distance travel facilities, lack of local travel facilities, containment zone closures, etc. It was again forced to close down operations due to enforcement of town wise lockdown. The company is again re-starting operations from July 30, 2020 as per guidelines issued by local authorities. The company has been able to run its operation due to co-operation of its employees and suppliers. It has been able to clear 80 % of all dues to Employees, Suppliers and Government agencies with the partial opening in June 2020 and loans from Directors. The company expects the situation to normalize in the coming months and it is confident of meeting its obligations and continuing as a going concern.
